Self-Pay Patients

The standard fee for appointments and surgery should be paid in advance either through the office or our digital healthcare platform. A quote can be obtained from the office.

Payments for further investigations or procedures performed on the day will be invoiced afterwards. Payment should be made within 1 month through the office or our digital healthcare platform.

Insured Patients

Insured patients may choose whether or not to use their health insurance for a particular appointment or procedure.

We advise you to contact your insurance provider before the appointment to confirm the level of cover they will reimburse, and obtain a pre-authorisation number for the consultation / investigations / procedure / surgery.

Please note that most insurance providers will not reimburse patients for medications, contact lenses or optical aids.

Patients are liable for any shortfall in the cover provided by their insurance provider. This must be paid within 1 month of the appointment.

Charges for Short-Notice Cancellations

We require at least 2 working days’ notice if you wish to reschedule your appointment or procedure without charge.

  • For cancellations after midday two working days beforehand (and not within one day), a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment fee will be charged.
  • For cancellations after midday the previous working day or failure to attend an appointment, a cancellation fee of 100% of the appointment fee will be charged.

Please note that most insurers will not cover a cancellation fee so you would be invoiced directly.
